Ecodepot and its contribution to you and our carbon footprint.

In short, you could say that an ecological footprint is the total amount of CO2 that results from the activities of a person or company.
By reducing the ecological footprint, we can make a positive impact on nature.
Beaufair is a stand construction company and also looks for ways to make this positive impact. This is reflected in:

• Recycling: in our stands we use PVC flooring and carpet, for example, which are recycled after use. This also applies to many other materials used in a booth.
• Reuse: by using parts of a booth multiple times, less energy is needed for production.
• Reduce use of plastic: packaging deliberately with recycled material and readily recyclable material such as cardboard.
• More efficient transport: by combining and striving to maximize the distance between company and exhibition where construction is to take place, the number of kilometers driven has been reduced significantly. Also consider combining transports with other companies.
• Internal measures: energy management, conscious use of equipment

After this chest-beating, it's nice to land back on earth.
Stand building is beautiful, nature is beautiful. Environmental awareness in booth building is fortunately increasing. We are seeing an increase in modular stand construction where materials are used multiple times.
This development is beginning to emerge more and more not only in the Netherlands, but fortunately also internationally. We would like to come back to this in a future blog.
From a practical point of view, reusing materials has a fairly logical consequence: where do you put all those materials?

In 2024, we set up part of our company for the storage of booth materials: the ECODEPOT

With this we achieve another step reduction in environmental impact. But we also achieve a cost advantage for our customers. We provide appropriate storage and ensure that you can use everything spic and span again at the next exhibition.

How does it work?

MAKE - USE - STORE - RE-USE - STORE - USE

OFFER:
At the offer stage, we will give you a price for a new booth including customization and printing. We will estimate what you can save in the years after the first use by reuse and what the expected storage costs per year will be.
REALIZATION:
The booth is produced and placed at the fair you participate in.
After the fair, you decide what you want to keep, what you want to reuse and what you want to dispose of for recycling. We register your goods using an Ecostore intake form.
BEWARE:
Your goods are registered and you are welcome to come at any time to look at or pick up goods. However, please make an appointment.
REUSE: As soon as the next trade show comes around, we take the materials out of the warehouse, check them or adjust them.
