Looking Back at Euroshop 2023 in Düsseldorf

Euroshop is the world’s largest trade fair for retail, stand construction, and company presentation. The fair was held from February 26 to March 2, 2023, in Düsseldorf.

For companies like Beaufair and its industry peers, this fair is a triennial reunion. In a short period, you meet many acquaintances who tell you what they have to offer, how business is going, and the novelties at the fair.

The previous edition in 2020 was marked by a mysterious virus that emerged in China. The word Corona came into view for the first time. It was remarkable to see how many companies survived the Covid period.

Review, as seen through the eyes of Beaufair Expo:

The general impression at first glance was that the “reunion” was an important aspect. New products in the field of stand construction were scarce.

What stood out?

A trend that no one can ignore anymore is sustainability. In retail, stand construction, and displays, there is an increasing awareness of materials. Origin and reuse of raw materials, use of more energy-efficient materials (equipment and lighting) are examples of this.

Also omnipresent: the rise of LED walls in stand construction. Complete walls are built with LEDs. Even more shapes possible, even more light output, even more sharpness. The distinction between stand builder and light rental company is becoming increasingly blurred.

New materials: as always, you sometimes find the nicest things in small stands. Think of different types of surface finishes, handy tools. A nice counterpart to the bright & shiny” LED products. Attracting attention is also possible with simplicity.
