  2. You have a reason to approach your customer. Think of something of value that will keep your invitation from being seen as spam. For example, consider a collectible gift at the booth or come up with a contest. Give away an admission ticket.
  3. By participating in a trade show, you show that you are spending money on marketing. This enhances your image. You are apparently successful.
  4. The portion of your customers who actually come to your booth are grateful for the invitation.
  5. For those customers who did not respond to the invitation, you have a reason to contact them. After all, we missed you!
